Say hello to Louise, Camilla, and Sophia, the heart and soul behind New Beginnings Postnatal Group
Three passionate women, each with their own area of expertise, who came together with one shared vision:
To create a safe, nurturing space where new mums feel seen, supported, and never alone.
Sophia Berman – Postnatal Doula & Breastfeeding Counsellor
Louise Slope – Maternal & Child Nutritionist
Camilla Ross – Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist
Together, they’ve built more than just a group, they’ve built a community. A place where all new mums feel comfortable to talk about anything, from sleep struggles to the small wins, and yes, we’re always happy to hold your baby so you can enjoy a hot coffee (while it’s actually hot!).
Our mission is to support your unique postnatal journey and introduce you to a wide range of therapies and tools, from nutrition to breathwork, massage to mindfulness, because every mum deserves the care she gives to others.
At New Beginnings, we know that while welcoming a new baby is a beautiful gift, it also brings a wave of unexpected emotions, fatigue, anxiety, and that rollercoaster of ups and downs that no one quite prepares you for. Every journey is different, and every mum deserves support that speaks to her unique experience.
That’s why we bring in a wide range of guest experts to support postnatal recovery in body, mind, and spirit—including:
Mindfulness with Kelly, Room 478
Craniosacral Therapy by Sam Lowi
Medical Herbalism with Magalie from Moon Herbs
Life Coaching with Angela Foulds
Postnatal Counselling with Liz Stacpoole
Homoeopathy, with Laura Spence
Baby Massage Taster Class with Steph from Nest & Nurture
Baby Sleep Coaching with Emily
Our goal is to open your mind to what’s out there—because there’s so much more than the standard advice. And if you don’t find what you need? We'll keep looking until you do.
