Hello, Im Louise!

BANT-Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in maternal and child nutrition

I support parents through every stage of the feeding journey, from nourishing themselves during pregnancy to introducing solids, tackling picky eating, and helping neurodivergent children feel safe and comfortable around food. My approach is always gentle, realistic, and tailored to your family. Because nourishing your child should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

Why I Do This

My journey into child nutrition wasn't just professional; it was personal. When my son developed extreme picky eating, I was told "he'll grow out of it" and "he'll eat when he's hungry." But mealtimes became a daily battle, and I knew there had to be a better way.

Through my training, I discovered what so many parents aren't told: eating challenges in children often have root causes, gut health imbalances, sensory sensitivities, food anxiety, or undiagnosed allergies. They're not just being "fussy." And they don't have to stay stuck.

By understanding what was really going on for my son and making small, sustainable changes, we transformed his relationship with food. That experience is at the heart of everything I do and it's why I'm so passionate about helping other families find their way forward too.

What I bring to your family

A decade in the food industry — before the therapy room:

Before training as a nutritional therapist, I spent over ten years developing nutritious recipes for UK supermarkets. I understand food from the inside out, how to make healthy eating genuinely practical, affordable, and appealing to children who would rather eat anything but vegetables.

Specialist training in neurodiversity and extreme picky eating:

I've completed additional specialist training in extreme picky eating, ARFID, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. This means I understand the sensory, neurological, and emotional factors that sit beneath many feeding challenges and how to support children gently and effectively without pressure or force.

Personal experience, professional empathy:

I've sat where you're sitting. I know the guilt, the worry, and the exhaustion that comes with feeding struggles. Every family I work with receives honest, judgement-free guidance that meets you exactly where you are, no unrealistic expectations, no one-size-fits-all plans.

What working together actually looks like

Nutritional therapy isn't about handing you a meal plan and wishing you luck.

It's a collaborative, ongoing process and the families who see the biggest changes are those who feel genuinely supported every step of the way.
